 About  Dominique’s Journey

A client asked me, “ Why do you do what you do?“  The answer is simple....my business card, says it all.

I love supporting people in their

journey of metamorphosing... becoming who they truly are.  In walking alongside others, I am reminded, empowered, and am supported in my own unfolding. This work gives deep meaning to my life.

My Path

I began my training at a uniquely opportune moment ... when massage and bodywork were blossoming at the start of the Human Potential Movement. At that  time I had rare access to some of the Great Teachers who shaped the field and generously shared their knowledge.

In the early days, I practiced massage with little training and little awareness of body mechanics. My own health suffered and became deeply problematic. This struggle launched me into a 25 year journey of intense personal healing, interwoven with  professional study. Studying styles that I found effective and resonant with my own health and beliefs.

What began as a seekers quest...driven by necessity and curiosity...  deepened a spiritual path. I became a practicing Buddhist, guided by the truth that as  Peter Levine said, “Research is Me search.”

My explorations took me to monasteries, retreat centers, and pilgrimages across India, Nepal, Tibet, and the United States. These years of immerions shaped me both personally and professionally, forming the ground of the work I now offer.

My lay teachers and mentors include:

Jim Asher, Dr. Jean Pierre Barral, Mariana Bentson, Roy Bonney, Ray Castallino, Linda Ceasara, Mantak Chia, Dr. Bruno Chikly, Diane Poole Heller,
